STOCKTON, Calif. – The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) announced Dylan Toy and Brigid McNally as the Conference Swimmers of the Week on Wednesday morning.

This being Toy’s second honor and McNally’s first, the award comes following a stellar performance at the Tigers’ 27th annual home event last weekend, the PAC Invite.

Dylan Toy:
Stockton, CA native Dylan Toy earned individual victories in the 50 Free (20.84) and 100 Free (45.25) at the Pacific Invite to help the Tigers to a first-place finish (1098 points) over Fresno Pacific, UC Santa Cruz, and top-ranked Stanford. Toy also aided the Tigers’ 400 free relay to a first (3:04.37) and swam a leg for the second-place 200 free relay and 400 medley relay teams on Saturday.

The senior swimmer’s medley relay split of 44.85 (free) was the fastest time by any swimmer in the meet. Toy also served as the anchor in the 400 free relay with a time of 44.98 to help the team to a 2:54.58 mark. In the 200 free relay, he put up a split of 20.18, once again the fastest time of any swimmer in the event. Toy would also place fourth in the 100 back (53.49).

Brigid McNally:
McNally shined in the distance events for the Tigers, earning second place in the 1650 free and two fourth-place finishes in the 400 IM and 500 free over the weekend. Her efforts would help the Orange and Black to second overall in the invite falling just short of University of Nevada-Reno with a total of 788 points. McNally posted times of 4:23.31 and 5:03.47 respectively in the 400 IM and 500 free events. The Ventura, CA native would end the weekend with her best mark in the 1650 free clocking in a time of 17:34.07.
