Olympic Medalist Cody Miller and Wife Ali Welcome Kato to the Family

There are now three boys in the Miller household.

Olympic medalist Cody Miller and his wife Ali Miller announced the birth of their second son, Kato William Miller, on Wednesday. He was born at 12:30 PM on Tuesday

The couple’s first child, Axel Zeke Miller, was born on November 16, 2020.

Miller won an Olympic gold medal as part of the American 400 medley relay at the 2016 Rio Olympics, to which he added an individual bronze in the 100 breaststroke. He also has two World Championship gold medals as part of relays.

He missed the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Team, finishing 11th in the 100 breast and 14th in the 200 breast at the 2021 US Olympic Swimming Trials.

He went on to represent the DC Trident at the 2021 International Swimming League season, where he racked up 66.50 MVP points in 6 matches. That ranked him 182nd in the league overall.

He and his wife Ali, then Ali DeWitt, met while DeWitt was working as a volunteer assistant with the Indiana Hoosiers and Cody Miller was training there as a college senior.

Miller has built his fame with one of the most popular social media channels dedicated to swimming via his YouTube account, which has 168,000 subscribers.

In true Cody fashion, Cody released a “Kato Miller Day 1” video about his emotions about becoming a father for the second time.

I saw the picture and thought, I bet he recorded it and made a video… then boom there it is lol. Can always count on Cody for a video he is talented in documenting and recording.

Weird question, but what’s up with dads taking their shirt off before having their picture taken with their new born? I’ve definitely seen this elsewhere on social media, particularly with athletes.

Skin to skin contact is important for babies to bond, especially with their non birth parent.

Cody and Ali pick the most bada** baby names. Axel and Kato will be the coolest kids in pre-school.

Axel in German means Father of peace. It basically short for Absalom. Look it up. Your German rivals Lochte’s English.
