FLAGSTAFF, Ariz./LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Rithika Colvin hit a PR in the platform at the Lumberjack Diving Invitational, and several swimmers hit PRs, including twice for Lizzie Briske, as the Lobos completed the 2025-26 regular season with the diving team in Flagstaff and the swim team in Las Cruces.

The Lobos swam a dual meet at New Mexico State, with the meet held at the Las Cruces City Pool, which is an indoor facility, instead of NMSU’s swim complex, which has an outdoor pool. The 1-meter and 3-meter diving events were pulled from the Lumberjack Diving Invitational for the dual meet, since both teams had divers there.

The Aggie took the win 237-91.

In Flagstaff, Colvin was the only Lobo to advance to the finals, doing so with a 202.40, well surpassing her previous best of 177.90 from the Mountain West Championships of a year ago. In the finals, Colvin slid back one slot to 15th.

Reed Moyer finished 22nd, Esme Abbadi-Macintish was 25th, and Zoe Rinon was 26th.

In Las Cruces, UNM’s best finishes were in the 1,000 free, where Eryn Quirsfeld turned in a season-best time, which, altitude adjusted to 10:46.65, just off her PR for the race. Arianna Stokes also had a second-place finish in the 50 free, coming in a close second at 23.55, just 0.07 seconds off a season-best.

Alice English’s 1-meter dive total of 249.50 was good for second, as was Abbadi-Macintosh’s 268.50 in the 3-meter dive.

While UNM didn’t take the top podium spot on the day, that doesn’t mean the squad didn’t turn in some great marks. Lizzie Briske had three PRs on the day, with a 33.34 in the 50 breaststroke, a 1:13.02 in the 100 breaststroke, and an altitude-adjusted 1:34.02 in the 200 breaststroke.

Freshman Myra Cansler had three PRs on the day, with a PR of 27.23 in the 50 fly, another in the 100 fly at 59.78 seconds, and a PR of 1:01.23 in the 100 IM. In that same race, Sophia Corder also set a PR of 59.56.

Ava Schlosser’s 1:01.47 in the 100 back was a season-best mark to round out a host of solid times for UNM.
