(NLI Photos) Stanford men and women add big signees

Stanford got NLIs from two big prospects: Junior National Teamer Alexandra Meyers and highly-rated long course backstroker Patrick Conaton.

Meyers, pictured above, comes to Palo Alto from the Schroeder YMCA in Wisconsin. She is one of the top few prospects in Wisconsin this year, with the ability to swim anything from the 50 to the 500 freestyle at a high level. She’s been 23.2 in the 50 and 4:52.5 in the 500, as well as sub-50 seconds in the 100 free. Read more about her commitment here.

Conaton will travel cross-country to join Stanford next fall – he currently swims for Badger Swim Club in New York. He’s a strong backstroker, with top times of 49.6 and 1:47.1 in the 100 and 200 respectively, and is also dangerous in sprint freestylers. Read more about his commitment here.
