Swimmer of the Week

Maggie MacNeil, Michigan

So. – London, Ontario – Sir Frederick Banting Secondary – Undeclared

  • Collected four first-place finishes against Miami (Ohio) and Navy last weekend
  • Recorded an NCAA B-cut qualifying time in the 100-yard backstroke (53.50)
  • Touch first in the 100-yard freestyle (49.54), and contributed to the first-place results in the 200-yard medley relay (1:40.80) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:24.36)
  • Garners her first career Swimmer of the Week award
  • Last Michigan Swimmer of the Week: Siobhan Haughey (Feb. 13, 2019)

Diver of the Week

Allie Klein, Michigan

So. – Melbourne, Australia – Firbank Grammar School – Sports Management

  • Recorded two NCAA Zone qualifying scores against Miami (Ohio) and Navy last weekend
  • Finished first on three-meter with a 331.65 total
  • Placed second on the one-meter with a score of 280.90
  • Earns her first career Diver of the Week award
  • Last Michigan Diver of the Week: Nikki Canale (Dec. 5, 2018)

Freshman of the Week

Kaitlynn Sims, Michigan

  • Earned two first-place finishes against Miami (Ohio) and Navy last weekend
  • Swept the distance freestyle events in her college debut
  • Placed first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:50.50) and 1,000-yard freestyle (9:53.49)
  • Earns her first Freshman of the Week award
