Lohman, Hernandez earn NISCA high school national diving titles, full All-America lists here

The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) has announced the high school All-America team for both boys and girls diving, headed by national champions Maria Lohman and Nathaniel Herndandez.

NISCA compiles the high school All-America lists, honoring the top high school divers in the nation. In addition, NISCA has awarded two athletes “national championships.” Though there is no high school national championship meet, the NISCA site has video of all 11 championship divers from both national champs, suggesting the judging for the national title was done based on video footage of eligible divers.

Lohman is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and divers for Chartiers Valley High School and the Pitt Aquatic Club. She’s now a graduated senior who will join the UNC Tar Heels in the fall.

Hernandez dives for Southlake Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas, the Texas Class 6A state champs. He’s only a junior, and should be a highly-recruited prospect in the coming recruiting season.
