High school junior Kaitlyn Weightman from Montgomery, Texas has announced her verbal commitment to the University of New Mexico for 2022-23. She wrote on social media:
“So excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim & study at the University of New Mexico. Huge thanks to my family, friends, teammates, teachers, and coaches for believing in me and supporting me through the years! Can’t wait to be in Albuquerque! #GoLobos 🐺”
Weightman swims for Magnolia Aquatic Club and Montgomery High School. At 2020 College Station Sectionals, she went lifetime bests in the SCY 50 free and 100/200 back and the LCM 100 free. Last fall, she improved her 100y free PB at a MAC dual meet.
