La nazionale di nuoto australiana sta per iniziare la stagione 2021 dei National Event Camps (NEC).
Sarà la prima volta dopo due anni che i migliori atleti australiani si alleneranno insieme in tre strutture:
- Gold Coast Aquatic Centre
- Bond University
- Palm Beach Aquatic Centre
Il programma prevede dieci giorni di allenamento ad alta intensità.
Nel Gold Coast Aquatic Centre si ritroveranno gli specialisti dello stile libero dal 3 al 6 Febbraio. Seguirà poi l’allenamento per i progetti di staffetta dal 7 al 9 Febbraio. Infine sarà il turno dei velocisti.
Ha dichiarato l’allenatore capo della squadra nazionale, Rohan Taylor:
“Questi collegiali sono la prima opportunità in più di un anno per i nostri atleti d’elite, allenatori e personale di supporto per riunirsi come squadra”.
“Ci sarà anche una grande attenzione sul progetto nazionale di staffetta. Le medaglie di staffetta sono un obiettivo chiave per la nostra squadra. Questi campi forniscono una preziosa opportunità di lavorare a stretto contatto con il nostro team per perfezionare le nostre abilità”
