The No. 1 Keiser University women’s swimming & diving team won their fourth consecutive Sun Conference Championship on Saturday night in Ocala, Fla.. The Seahawks won three events on the final night and set three meet records.

After the meet, Sinead Valero was named SUN Diver of the Year, Natalia Janiszewska was named SUN Freshman of the Year, and Luiza Bersi was named SUN Swimmer of the Year. The Seahawks finished with 11 event wins, 10 meet records, and 33 SUN All-Conference honors.

  • Janiszewska opened the night with another meet record, this time in the 200 Back
  • Santiago followed it up with a runner-up finish in the 100 Free, touching the wall at 51.84
  • In the 200 Fly, Bersi claimed her third meet record in her third individual event, clocking a 2:01.78 finish
  • Janiszewska, Santiago, Bradley, Bersi clinched the meet win with a new meet record of 3:24.35 in the final event of the night, the 400 Free Relay

The No. 1 Keiser University men’s swimming & diving team earned its fourth straight Sun Conference Championship on Saturday night in Ocala, Fla. The Seahawks won four events on the final night and set meet records in two of the wins.

After the meet concluded, Adrian Avilan was named SUN Diver of the Year, Isaiah Aleksenko was named SUN Swimmer of the Year, and Head Coach Adam Epstein was named SUN Men’s Coach of the Year. The Seahawks finished with 12 event wins, 8 meet records, and 32 SUN All-Conference honors.

  • Alex Menzel opened the night with a second-place finish in the 1650 Free, finishing with a time of 15:43.84
  • In the 200 Back, Pedersen grabbed the first win of the night for KU with a 1:47.40 finish
  • Boeckmann took bronze in the 50 Free, touching the wall at 44.79
  • De Geus then claimed second in the 200 Breast with a 1:57.82 finish
  • In the 200 Fly, Aleksenko bested his meet record with a time of 1:44.09
