| Position Summary |
Assists the head coach in the recruitment of perspective student-athletes as well as game-day and practice preparation.

| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Effectively assist in coaching a competitive swim program in a manner which promotes sportsmanship and integrity, ensuring compliance with all NCAA, Northeast conference, and institutional rules and regulations
Communicates effectively and often with the head coach and the student-athletes Establish and maintain good personal relationships with student-athletes and staff Assist in providing a supportive, encouraging, and challenging environment for the student-athletes Provide effective and corrective biomechanical feedback to the team, small groups, and individuals Ability to work weekdays – early mornings and/or early evenings, some weekends |
| Education and/or Experience |
Successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and previous swim coaching experience at the high school, club, or NAIA level.

| Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
Strong oral and written communication
Coaching philosophy and teaching concepts compatible with the Head Coach and Athletic Department’s vision
Ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with student-athletes and staff
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
