There’s also the NSW Senior State Age Championships 10/12 – 16/12

It should be a pretty interesting month of swimming starting off with US Open and then SC worlds, QLD Champs, NSW Champs and WA Champs all overlapping.

So it seems like the Aussies that were going to US Open are going to Japan Open now which is on 01/12 – 04/12.

2.5 weeks til worlds. When will official entries be announced? Are getting content soon?

There was an article that was supposed to link all the short course rosters but I don’t think it’s ever been updated.

Last year they weren’t out until less than a week before.

Ah interesting.

They’re now selling “VIP pool deck” tickets that sit you on the pool deck and include canapés and an open bar… I’ve enquired as to whether I can upgrade one of my tickets to this but don’t want to pay for a whole new ticket if I can’t.

They also say you’ll get “up close and personal” with the swimmers which implies you might get a chance for a pic or something?

If I could be on the pool deck, eating and drinking, and watch our women break the WR in the 4×100 free relay and the get a photo opportunity afterward I might die and go to heaven.

So it looks like several countries don’t use short course trials for their World SC teams since there many countries overlapping with Worlds or after deadline.
