Gwinnett Aquatics Sarah Jahns Commits to University of Evansville

Sarah Jahns, a 2019 graduate from Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia, has recently announced her commitment to swim for Division 1 University of Evansville. Jahns will be joining the school’s class of 2023.

Jahns looks to make strong contributions to Evansville’s distance freestyle roster. She placed 4^th in the 500 freestyle (5:01.22) at the GHSA 6-7 A State Championships this year along with placing 4^th in both the 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle events at the Speedo Championship series.

“I’m excited to announce my commitment to continue my education and swimming career at University of Evansville next fall!  Thank you to all my family friends and coaches who have helped me along the way.  Go ACES!!!”

This year at Evansville’s Missouri Valley Conference Championships, Jahns would have made several finals appareances with her current best times. Most notably, she would have placed 2^nd with her current time in the 1,650 freestyle (16:52.58) and would have placed 7^th in both the 500 freestyle (4:59.33) and the 200 freestyle (1:54.05).

Jahns will begin her swimming career at the University of Evansville beginning fall 2019.
