Jordyn Spector from Phoenix, Arizona has announced her verbal commitment to Binghamton University for the 2022-23 school year.

As a junior in the 2020-21 school year, Spector placed 6th in the 500 free (5:08.40) and 12th in the 200 free (1:56.19) at the Arizona High School AIA Division I Championships last fall. She also led off the 8th-place 400 free relay (55.41), helping the Pioneers to a top-10 team finish in the girls’ meet.
Spector swims year-round with Phoenix Swim Club. She is a USA Swimming Futures qualifier in the 500 free and earned lifetime bests in the 500/1000/1650 free at Four Corners Sectionals in March. She placed 7th in the mile and 16th in the 500. Two weeks earlier, she had swum PBs in the 100/200 free at the Arizona Senior Short Course State Championships.
Since May, she has gone best times in the LCM 1500 free (17:52.60), 800 free (9:24.90), 400 free (4:37.51), 200 free 2:12.93) and 100 free (1:02.00).

- 500 free – 5:02.46
- 200 free – 1:55.20
- 100 free – 54.21
Binghamton placed 4th of 7 teams at the 2021 America East Women’s Championships. Spector’s best times would have scored in the top-8 of the 500/1000 free and the top-16 of the 200 free. She also would have had a big impact on the 800 free relay.
