Former Australian Swimmers Mack Horton and Emily Seebohm Compete on SAS: AUS V ENG

A pair of former Australian Olympic Champions are back on television, this time outside of the pool. Both Mack Horton and Emily Seebohm are competing on SAS: AUS V ENG, a reality show that puts celebrities through multiple physical and psychological tests modeled on those used by former Special Forces soldiers.

The 2026 season will double as not only an individual contest, but as a battle between nations, as 14 UK and Australian Celebrities will endure a grueling eight-day challenge in the Moroccan Desert in North Africa.

Some of the tests the celebrities will face include a simulated helicopter crash into the water, long treks in the Moroccan heat, and war-zone survival drills.

The show will premiere in Australia on April 29 1t 7:30 pm on Channel 7.

According to a report from thewest.com.au, the participants will be overseen by Chief Instructor Mark “Billy” Bilingham and his directing staff, as seven British celebrities and seven Australian celebrities will be “stripped of their names” and referred to only by a number.
