Florida Gators Set For Home Opener Against Georgia

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida men’s and women’s swimming and diving is set for their home opener against Georgia on Oct. 28-29.

Diving starts on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 5:30 p.m., while the rest of the swimming and diving events start at 10 a.m. on Friday Oct. 29.

Live results will be made available through the MeetMobile App.

After their opening clash with Georgia, Florida will head to Tallahassee to take on the Seminoles on Friday, Nov. 5.

Series History

The Gators and Bulldogs have been long-time rivals, competing in 82 matchups over the history of both programs. Florida currently leads the all-time series with an overall record of 60-19-3, including a 6-4-1 tally in the last 11 duals. Last year, the two faced off on Oct. 30 in Gainesville in the Gators’ home opener.

Katie Ledecky was in the water and swimming against men?! I see her name in the 200 free result with 1:42.80. Anyone has video?

she also did a 4:30.55 500 free and result was listed under men’s…

which looks like in both events there were a second heat for all UoF swimmers and she swam.

Just a dual meet but still the biggest meet in the SEC this year should be streamed!!!

You can’t expect a small school with the limited resources of UF to have a mostly student-run volunteer production crew available to stream on SEC Network Extra,..can you?

For some unexplained reason, it is not being streamed!?!
