East Carolina Women’s Swimming and Diving announced the addition of 11 new athletes for the 2026-27 season on Tuesday. The 11-member group, made up of 10 swimmers and a diver, includes eight freshmen and three sophomore transfers. They will join a returning roster of 16 athletes who contributed to the team’s third-place finish at the American Conference Championships in February.
“Very excited about this group,” head coach Matthew Jabs said in the university’s press release. “Each of these young ladies will have an opportunity to impact our team immediately in their first year with the program. I want to thank our coaches who put in a lot of work to get these athletes to ECU. Can’t wait to get them on campus. Go Pirates.”
