The Denison men and NYU women take the top spots of the first Division III CSCAA dual meet poll for the 2025-2026 season.
The #1 Denison men captured the 2025 Division III NCAA team title with 463.5 points finishing over 100 points ahead of Emory who scored 323.5 points. The Emory men were ranked #2 in the first poll of the season.
The #1 NYU women finished 2nd at the 2025 NCAA Championships with 470 points, just 27 points behind MIT who captured the 2025 NCAA title. MIT is ranked #4 in the first poll of the season while the Denison women sit at #2 and were #4 at the 2025 NCAA Championships.
“The poll is voted on by a committee of Division III coaches who evaluate and rank the nation’s top 25 dual meet teams. Considerations include head-to-head dual meet results, recent performances since the previous poll, season-long outcomes, dual meet records, roster changes (such as injuries), and data from the SwimCloud simulator. It is important to note that the poll is not intended to predict championship meet finishes.”
Jake Taber of Hope College is the women’s committee chair while Sean Tedesco of USMMA is the men’s committee chair. The next Division III poll will be released on November 14.
