A Celebration of Life for longtime USA Swimming Executive Director Chuck Wielgus has been arranged for Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Penrose House Pavilion, 1661 Mesa Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80906. Doors open at 11 am, with the program beginning at Noon. It is the wishes of the Wielgus Family for those attending to wear festive attire instead of darker colors.
Wielgus died after complications from colon cancer at the age of 67. He had battled the cancer in multiple rounds since 2006.
The Wielgus Family has asked that, in lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions in Chuck’s honor may be made to the USA Swimming Foundation.
