Swimming at the loaded 2015 Southern Premier meet, hosted by the Nashville Aquatic Club, the powerful Carmel Swim Club 15-18 girls broke the National Age Group Record in the 200 yard free relay on Friday night.

The team of Veronica Burchill (22.76), Claire Adams (22.76), Kendall Smith (22.96), and Amy Bilquist (21.64) put together the fastest relay in history in 1:30.12.

They snuck just under the old record, breaking the 1:30.13 done by the same club in 2013. Bilquist, Burchill, and Adams were also on that relay, where they combined with Rachel Hayden for the mark.

Bilquist was the big difference maker here; in 2013, she split 22.07 on a rolling start, and was four-tenths better on the anchor on Friday night.

The same group already holds the 400 yard free relay record from the Indiana High School Championships two weeks ago, where they all compete for Carmel High School.
