Bryant Swimming & Diving Hires Nathan Coppock As Assistant Coach

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Bryant Swimming and Diving coach Katie Cameron has announced the hiring of Nathan Coppock as an assistant coach on the Bulldogs staff. Coppock will also hold the title of Pool Operator.

Coppock comes to Smithfield from Texas, where he was a club coach at the youth, high school, and postgrad levels. Coppock swam collegiately at the University of the Incarnate Word, graduating in 2018. During his career, he was a CCSA champion in the 1650 meters, setting the event’s conference record in the process. Coppock also helped lead his team to the conference championship as a senior. During his high school career in San Antonio, he was a Scholastic All-American.

Bryant opens their season October 22 at the Providence College Dual Meet. Their first home meet will be October 30 vs. Brown.
