Brazilian Olympians Bruno Fratus, Michelle Lenhardt marry in Atlanta

It’s a match made in chlorine heaven.

Brazilian Olympians Bruno Fratus and Michelle Lenhardt have officially married, tying the knot in Atlanta according to Lenhardt’s Instagram.

Lenhardt, a 2008 Olympian and a South American record-holder, tweeted and Instagrammed a picture of the couple’s rings to announce their marriage.

Fratus, who just missed the podium in the 50 free at the 2012 London Olympics, was in Georgia for the Charlotte Grand Prix this weekend.

Atlanta’s status as an Olympic host city wasn’t lost on the couple, SportTV’s Alex Pussieldi writes in his “Coach’s Blog.”

Now, with the Olympics coming to their home country in just over two years, the couple begins another exciting adventure, and one that will certainly be forever tied to their chlorinated history.
