Anna Moesch, Jonny Kulow Highlight US Roster For AP Race London International

USA Swimming has announced its roster for the 2026 AP Race London International set for May 23-26, 2026. Highlighting the roster is Anna Moesch on the women’s side and Jonny Kulow on the men’s side.

Eight women and eight men were selected to the roster, the maximum limit. No athletes that are on the US roster for the 2026 Pan Pac Championships are eligible to represent the US at the AP Race London International.

US Women’s Roster

US Men’s Roster

Moesch notably represented the US last summer at the 2025 World Championships, swimming in prelims for the women’s 4×100 free and 4×200 free relays. Charlotte Crush and Audrey Derivaux also highlight the women’s roster as both athletes swam to gold last August at the 2025 World Junior Championships.

Kulow also represented the US last summer at the 2025 World Championships, swimming in prelims of both the mixed 4×100 free relay and men’s 4×100 free relay. He also swam in finals of the men’s 4×100 free relay as that relay swam to bronze. Tommy Janton is the final swimmer to have represented the US at the 2025 World Championships as he was 18th in the individual 100 back and swam on the US men’s 4×100 medley relay in both prelims and finals. The relay won bronze in the final.

The AP Race London meet is a new meet for the US to send swimmers under the official delegation. Last year, the National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) sent a group of athletes to the meet. NCSA will send another group this year with 28 girls and 28 boys being selected.

The 16 swimmers representing the US will travel to London on May 20th. They will train on site from May 21st-22nd before competition starts May 23rd.

I’m trying to figure out how the men’s team was picked because Alexei Avakov, Ben Delmar, and Gabe Nunziata are all breaststrokers. And backstroke also has 2 people David King and Tommy JAnton

The girls is pretty easy to figure out:
Priority 1 (400,800,1500): Mila Nikanorov, Ryan Erisman
Priority 2 (IM’s): Audrey Derivaux, Michael Hochwalt
Priority 3 (Breaststroke): Piper Enge, one of the boys mentioned above
Priority 4 (Butterfly): Brady Kendall, None for the men?
Priority 5 (Backstroke): Charlotte Crush, Either King or Janton
Priority 6 (100fr): Anna Moesch, Jonny Kulow
Priority 7 (200fr): Madi Mintenko, None for the men?
Priority 8 (lowest MS of anyone not allready included) Annam Olasawere

I’m learning moesch and deviraux aren’t on the pan pac team, that sucks. I see moesch being really fast lcm the next few years, he turns weren’t special, think she is built for a LCM 100

I’m okay with the “pick Pan Pacs a year out,” but I wish there was a solution for swimmers who breakout this summer to have a big target international meet – even if it’s not the primary event.

Agree. But this way is better than picking a year out from world champs the summer before an Olympic year
