Nitro Swimming’s Alex Kirsling and Streamline Aquatics’ Will Crisp each climbed the all-time boys’ 11-12 national Age Group leaderboard in San Antonio at the 2026 AAAA STAGS meet at that NISD Swim Center and Natatorium.
Kirsling, 12, secured five lifetime bests in San Antonio, notably only swimming one event final, in which he won the 50 butterfly in 24.59, besting his lifetime best by over nine tenths, and putting himself in a four way tie for 34th all time in the 11-12 age group. Kirsling also climbed the 11-12 100 Im rankings, touching in 56.61, putting him in a tie for the 59th fastest performer in the 11-12 age group, and taking nearly four tenths off of his former best.
Crisp also put together a very productive outing in San Antonio, sneaking into the top 60 all-time performers in the 100 back for boys 11-12, shaving over three seconds off of his best time in 55.44, making him the 60th fastest 11-12 year old ever in the event. He also set lifetime bests in the 50 back (26.41), 400 IM (4:32.01), and 500 free (5:02.74).
Streamline Aquatic’s Ria Hager, 11, notched a massive 1000 free lifetime best, dropping over two minutes from her previous best time of 13:26.70 to take the win in the Mixed 1000 free in 10:58.94.
13-year-old Cole Ashley of Longhorn Aquatics turned in a three second best time to win the boys 11-14 200 fly in 1:58.40. His former best of 2:01.40 came in October at the Longhorn Aquatics 11 & Over Fall Kick Off.
8-year-old Olivia Posegay had several impressive performances, notably taking 12 second off of her best time on the 200 free in 2:14.40, and added a more than six and a half second drop in the 100 fly in 1:09.72.
