World Aquatics Foundation ne is week apna Emerging Leaders Program announce kiya. Yeh initiative isliye design kiya gaya hai taaki 14-18 saal ke swimmers ko empower kiya ja sake, aur unhe encourage kiya ja sake ki woh water safety, environmental responsibility, aur positive community engagement ke advocates ban saken.
World Aquatics Foundation, jo sport ke global governing body ka philanthropic arm hai, ab Ian Zhang ke WeSwim aur Rowdy Gaines ke Step Into Swim program ke saath partnership kar raha hai. Yeh programs aur unke partners participants ko structured mentorship, educational masterclasses, aur opportunities provide karenge, jisse woh projects implement kar saken jo water safety, community development, aur sustainable practices ko address karte hain.
“Drowning prevention ek aisi cause hai jo mere liye bahut personal hai,” Ian Zhang ne kaha. “Yeh program young leaders ko ek platform provide karta hai jahan woh collaborate kar saken, ek dusre se seekh saken, aur apni communities mein meaningful action le saken.
Peer-to-peer development ke through, yeh Emerging Leaders na sirf apni skills enhance karenge, balki water safety ko ek important life skill ke roop mein promote bhi karenge.”
“Swimming ke paas lives ko change karne aur tragedies ko prevent karne ki power hai,” Rowdy Gaines ne kaha. “Step Into Swim ke through, humne swimming ko sabke liye accessible banane ki koshish ki hai. Emerging Leaders Program is mission ko global level tak le ja raha hai, jahan ye young leaders apni creativity, passion, aur leadership ko combine karke apni communities mein ek tangible impact create karenge.”
Emerging Leaders Program Europe, China, aur United States ke participants ke saath start hoga, jahan har participant ek one-year program ka hissa banega, jo World Aquatics ke Swimming World Cup events ke around activate kiya jayega.
