2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Conference Championships Primer – Division I

It’s finally February, and you know what that means: time for the 2026 swimming and diving championship season! Over the next few weeks, there will be dozens of conference championships in each of the NCAA’s three divisions and the NAIA. Below, we have listed the details (dates, locations, and important links) for the 23 NCAA Division I conferences that have swimming & diving championships this season.

If you plan on closely following multiple conference meets in the next few weeks, it may be a good idea to bookmark this page to keep all the information in an easily accessible location. We will update it as we get more details.

And while we’ve done our best to track them all down, there are many championship meets going on around the nation this month so if we’ve missed one, let us know and we’ll add it below.

Any Idea what the roster limits are for each conference this year?
18 total athletes, divers count as 1/2
18 total athletes, divers count as 1/3
18 swimmers + 3 divers (any more divers and its a 1 to 1 ratio)
22 total athletes (everyone counts as 1)

Just curious how everyone else is doing it this year

It’s truly unfortunate that the Mid-American Conference and Missouri Valley Conference scheduled their meets for the exact same dates this year. That puts several combined Women and Men programs at a disadvantage who compete in the MAC for Women and the MVC for Men…UMass, Ball State and Miami…and forces shared HC’s, Assistants and staff to choose which location they will be at. That isn’t fair to the Student Athletes, fans, coaches and staff. And, this could have very easily been avoided by the MAC and MVC working together in the best interest of ALL schools and scheduling one of the meets a week earlier.
