Karina Conover Hui from Mountain View, California has announced her commitment to continue her academic and athletic careers at UCLA beginning in fall 2027.

I could not be here without the constant support from my incredible family and teammates and for them I am so grateful. I can’t wait for this next chapter of my swimming journey! GO BRUINS!!”
She swims for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics and finished her long course season at 2025 Summer Juniors. She finished 39th in the 100 fly in a 1:02.12 and 63rd in the 50 fly in a 28.55.
This fall, she notably swam at the World Cup stop in Toronto. Her highest finish was 22nd in the 100 fly as she touched in a 1:03.56. She competed in a total of seven events.
Back in May, she represented Mountain View High School at the CIF State Championships. She finaled in both of her individual events, finishing 14th in the 100 fly (56.06) and 16th in the 100 back (57.12).
Conover Hui’s Best SCY Times Are:
- 100 fly: 54.33
- 200 fly: 2:05.24
- 100 back: 55.60
The UCLA women finished 7th out of 14 teams at the 2025 Big Ten Championships, their first season as a member of the Big Ten. The team scored 544 points, to finish less than 50 points behind 6th place Minnesota (592 points).
It took a 53.45 in the 100 fly and a 53.97 in the 100 back to score at 2025 Big Tens. UCLA had two ‘B’ and two ‘C’ finalists in the 100 back and one ‘A’ and one ‘C’ finalist in the 100 fly. Emma Harvey led the way in the 100 fly with a 7th place finish in a 52.39. Harvey graduated this past spring.
Conover Hui will arrive in fall 2027 as a member of the class of 2031 along with Andi Taylor and Alison Su. All three commits are from California.
