- Emily Scheberies and Elise Ramsden went 1–2 in the 100-yard backstroke.
- Kayla Gregory won the 100-yard breaststroke, leading a strong showing from the Aggie breaststrokers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UC Davis opened the meet by setting the tone in the 200-yard freestyle relay, with the Aggies’ A squad touching first at 1:33.00, followed by the B team in second.
- In the distance freestyle, Ezmee Jones led UC Davis with a third-place finish in the 1650 free, followed closely by Ayanna Thompson and Elena Gingras, who placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
- The Aggies dominated the 200-yard freestyle, as Bellin powered to victory in 1:50.08, with Angelina Komashko and Sophi MacKay completing an Aggie sweep in second and third.
- In the backstroke, Scheberies claimed first in the 100-yard backstroke, followed by Ramsden and Kylie Bell, giving UC Davis a podium sweep.
- The 100-yard breaststroke went to Kayla Gregory, who clocked a strong early-season time to take first place.
- Zoe Childers continued her form in the 200-yard butterfly, taking first while teammates Ellie Heit and Ema Klimauskas finished third and fourth.
- In sprint events, Boegholm earned the top spot in the 50-yard freestyle, followed by MacKay in second, marking another 1–2 finish for the Aggies.
- UC Davis closed the meet on a high note as Graham and Childers tied for first in the 200-yard individual medley, with Ella Ackerman finishing third to complete a sweep.
- The Aggies finished the meet with commanding depth and consistency, marking an impressive home debut to build momentum for the season ahead.

DAVIS, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women’s swimming team turned in several standout performances Friday afternoon in a dual meet at UC Davis, as the Pioneers battled the Division I Aggies and came away with multiple top finishes despite falling 192-70 in the team scoring.
Meet Highlights
- 200 Medley Relay: The quartet of Lily Caraway, Rae Ann Dressel, Tehani Kong, and Alexia Fajardo finished second with a time of 1:43.66, just three-tenths of a second behind UC Davis.
- 1650 Free: Malana Kollath and Maggie Clemens went 1-2 for the Pioneers. Kollath won in 17:04.52, while Clemens was second in 17:17.55.
- 100 Breast: Rae Ann Dressel took second in 1:04.92, just one-tenth behind the winner.
- 200 Fly: Alexia Fajardo earned second with a strong 2:03.22
- 50 Free: Tehani Kong led the Pioneers with a fourth-place finish in 23.81
- 200 Breast: Beaudet won the event in 2:20.35, narrowly edging UC Davis’s Kayla Gregory.
- 500 Free: Miya French finished fourth in 5:09.76
- 100 Fly: Kong captured an event win for East Bay, clocking 54.58
- 200 Free Relay: Kong, Rocheleau, Kali Mull, and Fajardo combined for third place in 1:36.53, finishing ahead of multiple UC Davis squads.
The Pioneers will return to action next month as they continue their fall schedule, building momentum toward the midseason invitationals and the 2025 PCSC Championships.
