Hubi Kos on 100 Back WR in Toronto: “I came here wanting to get that record”

2025 WORLD AQUATICS SWIMMING WORLD CUP – Toronto

After putting it out in the ether in Carmel that he wanted to break the 100 and 200 SCM Backstroke world records at some point, Hubi Kos came to Toronto 2 weeks later and did just that. Kos may have even surprised himself with his performances, shattering both records and completing his perfect run with 9 out of 9 victories across the World Cup in backstroke. The Hungarian is now the fastest ever in the 100 and 200 back in both SCY and SCM.
