Team Scores
Women
- Virginia 224 — 127 Florida
Men
- Florida 191.5 — 159.5 Virginia
The Virginia women had a very strong showing at their first real meet of the season with them scoring 224 points to beat the Florida women’s score of 127.
The men’s meet was much closer than last year, with the teams exactly tying when only swimming points are added. The Florida men scored more diving points (Virginia doesn’t have a diving team), which helped them win the meet 191.5 to 159.5. At this meet last year, the UVA men did not win a single event, and only scored 69 points.

Still no Lilla Bognar? Are there any updates on her? Is she unwell? Really hope to see her competing soon.
We keep asking and keep not getting responses from anyone.
Seems to be a health issue, don’t know much beyond that.
The spaniard Nil Cadevall are improving a lot. He is a really good swimmer!!
We are not talking enough about that 56.87 by Bottazzo. It’s a UF school record by more than half a second and would have been second at NCs last year behind Alex Walsh’s 56.49.
Thomas Heilman and Max Williamson on UVA’s team
David King is a star in the making
Aikins, Nicholas, King?
I don’t think they tied Florida with only those two
Their old narrative is shot, so this is the redefinition so we’ll forget that Thomas and Maximus were suppoed to fail at UVA.

Lawson Ficken :51 fly in October… might keep Curzan in her backstroke role from last year
looks like a PB for Canny in the 500 free
Time?
4:34
4:34.26
It was a 4:34. Funny to think that if she swam the 200 we might have gotten 2 1:41’s
