Brooke Warner of Mickleton, New Jersey, has committed to swim and study at Towson University, beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. The breaststroke and freestyle specialist trains year-round with the Jersey Wahoos and attends Kingsway Regional High School.
She announced the news on social media, writing:
I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Towson University! I want to thank my friends, family, and especially coaches for being my biggest supporters! I would like to thank Coach Tony and Coach Em for this amazing opportunity! So excited for the next 4!!!! At the MA JW Thanksgiving Celebration ABBC Meet in November, Warner won the 100 breast with a season-best 1:04.36 and swam 57.19 for 41st in the 100 free.
Warner’s biggest meet of the 2024-25 season was the Middle Atlantic Senior Championships in mid-March. Her highest finish came in the 100 breast, where she stopped the clock in 1:05.40 for ninth. She also touched 23rd in the 200 breast (2:28.93), 64th in the 50 free (25.50), and 70th in the 100 free (56.13). She proved pivotal on both the medley and free relays, splitting 29.18 and 1:04.89 breast on the relays that took 13th and fourth, while logging 25.72 on the 14th-place 200 free relay and 54.78 on the 9th-place 400 free relay.
Her best times in the 50 free and 100 breast stem from the NJSIAA Meet of Champions in March 2024, where she recorded 24.50 and 1:03.99. Her fastest-ever mark in the 100 free (53.58) was set at the MA Jersey Wahoos Sweetheart ABBC Meet in February 2024, while her 200 breast time of 2:23.08 was produced at the 2023 Middle Atlantic Senior Championships.

Towson University is a public university located in Maryland, with an enrollment of approximately 22,000 students. The program is currently under the direction of head coach Anthony Bruno, who took the reins in June of 2022. The women finished fifth out of nine teams at the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Championships.
Warner will be a valuable addition to Towson’s roster in all of her main events. Her lifetime best in the 100 breast would have ranked fourth on the team’s depth chart for the 2024–25 season, while her top time in the 200 breast would have placed her sixth. In the 50 and 100 free, her best times would have ranked 10th.
At the 2025 CAA Championships, Warner’s best times in the 100 breast would have slided her into the ‘B’ final, as 1:03.99 was 12th after prelims. It took times of 23.80 (50 free), 51.60 (100 free), and 2:21.82 (200 breast) to make the top 24 and score in those events.
Warner joins Sarah McGann as the only publicized commit in Towson women’s recruiting class of 2026.
