Don’t know if this has been mentioned yet, but they pulled Nil Cadevall Micolau, a 27.6/1.00.9/2.14.0 breaststroker + 2.00.4 imer

UF vs IU women is going to be a barn burner

How do you know the coaches don’t care about the alumni? We have been begging for Saturday dual meets to bring our families too and yet another year with no Saturday meets.

Here’s a weird one… UF lists meet against LSU for Jan 9… yet LSU lists it as Jan 10 (a Sat) 🤷‍♀️

No Bella Sims. No Emma Weyant.

It’s going to be a long season for the Florida Gators.

They also lose Olivia Peoples (key sprint free/fly swimmer, best known for swimming butterfly in a free relay) and Mikayla Cronk (2 21 and 47 splits at NCAA’s this year.)

UF is getting a stacked freshman class this year including Grace Rabb and Lilla Bognar, and a sprint fly/free specialist from Brazil, and they had several girls make significant moves this summer in long course. Those points will be hard to replace, but I suspect that by the end of the year, UF will be doing better than we might have thought.

I know about them, but Lilla Bognar hasn’t swim at a meet since December, she got injured

At least 87 of their 122 individual points

Those points won’t be easy to replace despite the incoming class of Bognar, Rabb, Bowen, Bezerra (BRA), Statkevicius (CAN), Ferguson.

I’d love that. Unfortunately, coaches aren’t that creative and don’t care about the sport to make it fun for fans.
