East Sussex me ak swimming pool 4 saal se jada time ke baad reopen hua hai.
Ringmer Pool ko phir se use me laane ka decision East Sussex Country Council dwara public consultation ke baad liya gaya tha, jisne tab Lewes District Council (LDC) ke saath kaam kiya tha.
Local authority ki or se facility chalane ke liye Wave Active ko appoint kiya gaya hai aur company ke CEO Duncan Kerr ne kaha ki wo Saturday ko pool reopen hone se “khush” hain.
March 2021 se pool band hai.
Mr. Kerr ne kaha: “Ye facility ak wonderful community asset hai. Hamne ise taiyar karne ke liye kadi mehnat ki aur ummeed karte hain ki kai residents pool, apne health ko support karne aur swimming ko enjoy karne ke liye regularly aate hain.”
LDC me tourism and leisure ke liye cabinet member, Councillor Johnny Denis ne kaha: “Ringmer pool ko starting me local logon ki kadi mehnat aur fundraising ke liye thanks kaha gaya tha aur poore community ke liye ise wapas lana sach me exciting hai.
“Mujhe khushi hai ki hamne pool ko reopen kar diya hai.”
LDC ne local leisure services ko banaye rakhne ke liye apne £3m council investment program ke part ke roop me Ringmer Pool me £100,000 ka investment kiya.
ESCC ke deputy leader, Councillor Nick Bennett ne kaha ki facility ko reopen karna “bahoy achha” tha.
Unhone kaha: “Hamne wider community ke benefit ke liye Ringmer Pool ke future ko ensure karne ke liye funding ke liye Lewes District Council ke saath kaam kiya.”
