Julie Hope Ne National Short Course Meet Me Triple Record Set Kiya

Dubai based Cyclone Aquatics ki Julie Hope ne Sri Lanka Aquatics Sports Union (SLASU) dwara conduct kiye gaye competition ke second day ke end tak apna 3rd junior national record set kar ke National and Junior National Short Course Championship me apna jalwa Bikhera. Ye competition kal Colombo ke Isipathana College Swimming Pool me continue raha.

Janaka Prasad ki Colombo Swimming Academy me training le rahi Dubai ki swimmer Hope ne 2:14.69 ke stunning time ke saath Under-15 girls’ 200m freestyle record break kiya aur 2019 me Gateway College ki Hiruki de Silva dwara banaye gaye 2:18.20 ke previous record ko break kiya. Isse pahle, unhone preliminaries me 2:17.66 ka time nikala tha aur final me 3 second improve karte huye new record set kiya tha.

Din ka unka second junior national record under-15 girls’ 50m backstroke me aaya, Jahan unhone 31.41 second ka time record kiya, jo 2019 se Lyceum Wattala ki Akithmi Wasalathanthri dwara banaye gaye 31.59 ke last record ko pichhe chhod gaya. Notably, Hope ne 31.48 second ke time ke saath preliminaries me meet record bhi break kiya tha.

Iss beech, Killer Whale Aquatics ki Britain based Minagi Rupesinghe ne women’s 400m individual medley me 5:08.03 time ke saath senior national record break kiya aur 2015 ke KWA ki Machiko Raheem dwara banaye gaye 5:13.26 ke decade-old record ko break kiya.

Other notable records me Lyceum swimmer Dilushi Dilsara ka under-15 Girls 400m individual medley me 5:39.47 ke record ko break kiya. St. Peter’s College ke AIM Haathim ne under-15 Boys 100m breaststroke me 1:09.38 ka time nikala, jisne Ananda College ke ANN Dabare ke last year ke 1:11.70 ke record ko break kiya.

Din ka akmatra relay record Lyceum Wattala ki Under-15 Girls 400m medley relay team ne banaya, jisne 5:08.09 ka time lekar Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya ke 2022 ke 5:09.60 ke record ko pichhe chhod diya. Team me Inuki Muthuhetti, Dilushi Dilsara, Seyara Wijesinghe and Jennaly Weerasinghe shaamil thi.

Unattached swimmer Zoe Tollit ne Girls 100m breaststroke junior national record ko do baar cross kiya, preliminaries me 1:17.47 ke saath aur phir final me 1:15.46 impressive time ke saath, jisne 2016 me Vishakha Vidyalaya ki Ramudi Samarkoon dwara sthapit 1:17.70 ke previous record ko pichhe chhod diya.
