Mental Health Par Focus Karne Ke Liye Peaty Ne Skip Kiya British Championship

Triple Olympic Breaststroke champion Adam Peaty ne kaha ki next week se hone wali British Swimming Championships mei wo participate nhi karenge kyun ki 2024 Paris Games se pahle wo apni mental health par focus karna chahte hai.

28-year-old ke in swimmer ne apni instagram post par success ke saath aane wale personal battles aur pressures ke bare mein bataya. Unhone kaha ki try toh kiya but sport ko pahle ki tarah enjoy nhi kar paa raha hun.

“Har koi tab tak aapki seat par baithne ka mann karta hai jab tak unhe actual mein baithna nhi padta hai…bahot kam log hi samajh paate hai ki winning aur success ka kisi individual ke mann par kya effect padta hai,” unhone kaha.

“Unhe ye nhi pata hota hai ki baar baar jeetne ke liye individuals apne upar kitna pressure create kar lete hai.”

“Kuch log jaante bhi honge ki last few years se mai apni mental health mei struggle kar raha hun aur mujhe lagta hai ki ab iske liye honest hona jaruri hai. Mai thak chukka hun, mai, main hi raha, aur mai sport ko utna enjoy nhi kar paa rha hun jitna ki maine last decade mei kiya tha.”

Tokyo mei mili unki success ne unhe first British swimmer bana diya tha jinhone Olympic title ko retain kiya tha.

Peaty ne last year hui world European championships ko bhi miss kiya tha.

“Kuch logo ko lag sakta hai ki mai burnout ho chuka hun, par mujhe itna pata hai ki mujhe abhi tak answers nhi mile hai jo mai dhund raha hun,” unhone kaha. “Help ki wajah se, ab mai jaan gaya hun ki life mein imbalance ko kaise address karna hai.

“Halaki maine training continue rakha hai, but next month hone wali British Swimming Championships ke liye maine withdraw kar liya hai. Iska sole purpose yhi hai ki Paris mein 2024 mein hone wale Olympic Games mein wo best perform kar sakein.”
