The Christmas presents are open and the New Year has been rung in. Across the country, college students are languishing with two weeks left of their winter break- except for the swimmers. Many programs have been back in the water for a few days already this year. And whether they’re on campus or in some exciting local for a training trip- we’re just glad that dual meet season is resuming. Below is a the list of the D1 college meets we’ll be covering through the weekend. If we missed any, please leave them in the comments and we’ll get it added.
There are a few huge meets on the schedule early, including Texas taking a weekend road trip to face Georgia and Auburn. Notre Dame and Virginia will also have a big ACC two-day dual, while Duke and South Carolina face off in a battle between two rising east coast programs.
The weekend’s schedule will also feature a pair of interesting border rivalries – the Backyard Brawl will take to the pool between West Virginia and Pitt; as well as a Denver-Wyoming showdown.
