Synchro stars will shine this weekend in Shaoxing

Up-and-coming synchronised swimming bests from Australia, China, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA are set to compete in the 10th edition of the FINA Synchronised Swimming World Trophy, organised on December 12-13, 2015 in Shaoxing, a Chinese city in the Zhejiang province.

The competition programme includes a Synchro Highlight Routine, Thematic Duet, Free Team Routine, Solo Exhibition, China Show and Free Combination. An additional highly anticipated event has been added to this year’s schedule – the Mixed Duet, an event that also made its entry in the FINA World Championships in 2015. As per the previous editions, the Solo Exhibition will not be judged to let the athletes express their artistic routines.

Both Saturday and Sunday will end with an Award Ceremony and will be followed by a Gala on Sunday to conclude the yearly prestigious rendezvous.

21:40-22:30 Award & Gala

Spain (2008, 2010 and 2011) and China (2012, 2013, 2014) hold three World Trophy titles each, while Russia won two editions (2006, 2007) and Canada triumphed at home in 2009.
