Carmel Swim Club and High School’s Jackie Pash has given her verbal commitment to Akron for next fall.

Pash’s Top Times

  • 200 free – 1:53.75
  • 500 free – 5:08.27
  • 200 breast – 2:20.94
  • 200 fly – 2:03.99
  • 400 IM – 4:23.46

Pash is incredibly versatile, so it figures that her best event is the swimmer’s decathlon (the 400 IM). She is a Winter Juniors qualifier in that event.

Had Pash swum her 400 IM best time at last year’s MAC Championships, not only would she have been an A finalist, but she would’ve been Akron’s top swimmer in the event. Their best last year was current sophomore Kristen Vargas at 4:24.22.

Pash also would’ve scored in the 200 fly B final and been on the brink of scoring in the 200 breast B final at last year’s MAC Champs.

Akron won last year’s MAC Championships by nearly 100 points. Joining Pash in their incoming freshman class:

Good luck Jax. Akron is getting a dedicated swimmer from Carmel High School and the Carmel Swim Club. Thanks to the coaches for making her as versatile swimmer as you will see.
