Claire Barton and Alison Williams net 10th place at the French Open

Two U.S. synchronized swimming duets put together Top 10 results Friday at the Make Up For Ever French Open in Paris.

Anita Alvarez (Kenmore, N.Y./Town of Tonawanda Aquettes) and 2012 Olympian Mariya Koroleva (Concord, Calif./Walnut Creek Aquanuts) were in sixth place in the free routine with 80.0000 points, and national squad teammates Claire Barton (Los Gatos, Calif./ Walnut Creek Aquanuts) and Alison Williams (Northridge, Calif.) were in 10th place with 77.9000 points.

Alvarez and Koroleva were seventh in the tech routine with 80.1203 points. Barton and Williams were 11th at 79.0282.

Alvarez and Koroleva advanced to compete in the duet free final on Saturday.
