City of Nice to Hold Vigil This Evening for Camille Muffat and Other Crash Victims

The City of Nice has organized a vigil to honor the memory of their native Camille Muffat and the other victims of Monday’s tragic helicopter crash in Argentina. Muffat swam her entire career at Olympic Nice Natation, and was one of the city’s favorite -and most decorated- athletes. Muffat, Yannick Agnel, Clément Lefert, and Charlotte Bonnet, all of whom trained under Fabrice Pellerin at ONN, were given a hero’s welcome by the city after their enormous success in London at the 2012 Olympic Games.

The vigil is scheduled to take place at 6:45 pm (GMT +1; France has not yet changed to Daylight Saving Time) at the Promenade du Paillon in Nice.
