Shackley, Andrew Choose 50 Back Over 100 Fly on Day Two 2026 PSS (Finals Scratches)

Day two prelims of the 2026 Indianapolis Pro Swim Series have wrapped up, and most of the top – 16 qualifiers have chosen to swim their finals events. There are several names swimming notable doubles tonight, such as Sophia Umstead in the 200 breast/400 IM and Alex Walsh in the 100 fly/200 breast.

There are a few scratches however, with Leah Shackley opting out of the B – final in the 100 fly for the 50 back, where she is the #8 seed. Shackley took 4th in the 100 back last night in 58.82. Michael Andrew, who is also opting for the 50 back over the 100 fly, is the only A-final scratch of the night. He’ll be the #5 seed for the splash and dash tonight.

A duo of Hayes — UVA’s Leah Hayes and NCS’ Aiden Hayes — are also out of their doubles for tonight. Leah will be competing in the 400 IM where she’s the #7 seed instead, while Aiden is set to swim the 100 fly over the 50 back. In the 100 fly, he’s seeded 12th in 53.05.
