Assistant Swim Coach – Chinook Aquatic Club
Position Overview
Chinook Aquatic Club is seeking experienced and enthusiastic applicants for Assistant Coach positions.
Chinook Aquatic Club is one of the oldest swim teams in the Seattle area, founded in 1976. We have a long history of serving the Eastside swim community and developing successful athletes. Our coaching staff is composed of experienced, forward-thinking professionals, and we are looking to expand our team as the club continues to grow and increase its competitive presence. Chinook operates training sites in Bellevue and Renton, conveniently serving athletes from those and surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with 1.5 to 2-hour practices Monday through Saturday, primarily working with athletes ages 9–15
- Plan and implement practice sessions using a progressive training approach, including technique development and conditioning tailored to assigned groups
- Attend and coach at swim meets approximately 1–2 times per month
- Perform general administrative duties, including meet entries and communication with staff, athletes, and families
- Maintain current USA Swimming coach membership and all required certifications
Compensation
Chinook Aquatic Club offers competitive pay. Compensation will vary based on experience, responsibilities, and demonstrated achievement.
