60 Minutes To Feature Cal’s Missy Franklin Tonight

60 Minutes will be featuring Olympian and Cal Bear, Missy Franklin, tonight for the sports section of their show. The 60 minute crew followed the Bears on their training trip in Hawaii and at a few swim meets during the year.

Golden Bear fans wanting an inside look at the Cal women’s swimming & diving team should make plans to watch Showtime on Wednesday, March 4, beginning at 6 p.m. PT for the premiere of an in-depth feature on 60 Minutes Sports. Click on the link above for a preview.

The 60 Minutes Sports crew, including correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi and producer Rome Hartman, followed the Bears into training workouts, came along for a portion of the team’s annual training trip to Hawaii and brought its cameras to Spieker Aquatics Complex for a couple of dual meets.
