Yet more proof the USA Swimming’s Board of Directors don’t give a damn about the sport or its athletes.

Where is USA Swimming leadership? What have they done to help facilitate broadcast in the States? I’m guessing crickets.

This is bush league. So much for expanding a sport that very few people seem to care about.

Just ridiculous. These kids work hard and only get direct tv? lol. This sport is such a joke and treats the athletes and coaches so poorly.

Agree that these kids work incredibly hard, sacrifice much and it seems the pay off is minimal compared to many other sports.
Maybe blame the parents for supporting these amazing athletes in a goin nowhere sport?
With the athletic skill and commitment, most of the high level swimmers could be celebrities if only they had started at a young age in other sports like – Soccer, baseball, softball, football, basketball, tennis, golf, gymnastics, flag football, archery, squash, bowling or Texas Hold Em poker.

“Mommas dont let your sons grow up to be swimmers” (Insert Willie Nelson song) Mommas dont let sons grow up to be cowboys.
Put em in chess, gaming, cage fighting, squash, guitar playin, poker tournaments, billiards or jive dancin!

Let us all hope that Recast has improved from 2023. And also that they do not push the prices up hours before the meet starts like they did in 2023. It was dodgy as hell.
