Swim Job: Sandpipers of Nevada seek Age Group Swim Coach

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sandpipers of NevadaSandpipers of Nevada is seeking an experienced and energized coach to work with our new age group program at our new satellite pool location. We are looking for a Coach who works well with others, is passionate about swimming and a career in coaching, with strong communication and customer service skills and who is dedicated to developing each athlete into successful swimmer.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a knowledge of competitive swimming and be willing to communicate well with other Coaches, Parents and Swimmers. Will need to have or obtain a USA swimming Coaches certification which includes Athlete Protection Training, CPR/Safety Training Course, USA Swimming Background check, and Foundations of Coaching Course/test.

HOURS AND LOCATION

Looking for a start date of January 5th 2015. Hours needed would be from Monday- Friday 3:45pm-8:15pm. Weekends open for Saturday morning practices and Swim Meets. Centennial YMCA 6601 N Buffalo Dr , Las Vegas NV 89131.

DUTIES INCLUDE

1. Running and Creating Age Group practices 6 times a week.
2. Attending swim meets on occasional weekends.
3. Maintain communication with other Staff and Swim Families.
4. Maintaining a safe and positive environment for athletes.

SALARY

Based on level of experience.

Since 1968, the Clark County Sandpipers of Nevada has established itself as a premier youth sports program in the Las Vegas area and one of the top club swim teams in the United States. The Sandpipers, along with being recognized amongst the few Silver Medal Swim Clubs in the country, offers a comprehensive program that satisfies the needs of novice swimmers to Olympic hopeful athletes. The Sandpiper Swim Team is a member of the Southern California Swimming Association of USA Swimming. The Clark County Sandpipers is a non-profit corporation (ID #88-0151712) and is administered through a board of directors comprised of parent volunteers and coaches. I’m Michaelyn Pinjuv a native Vegas gal. Do you have pictures in archives of 1964-1966 of couch Dick Laddie/Laddy? I’ve done DNA found out baby of 8 I’m a half sister to them and my Mom took my 6 older brothers to him for classes, now hearing she was found of him.
