Russia Announces Roster For 2014 European Championships

The 2014 European World Championships are set for August 18-24 in Berlin. Today, Russia announced the 34 swimmers who will be headed to Germany. Leading the squad is superstar sprinter, Vladimir Morozov, who has hopes for multiple titles come August. On the women’s side Russia will be missing their world class breaststroker, Yulia Efimova, after her positive drug test resulted in a 16 month suspension. Instead, 15 year old Daria Ustinova will try to make a name for herself on the senior national stage after setting three junior world records in the backstrokes this year.
