VIDEO INTERVIEW: Scottish 100 Backstroke Champion Ryan Bennett Missed Record By .01

Scottish backstroker Ryan Bennett talks after winning the 100 short course meter championship on Sunday at the Scottish Gas Short Course National Championships in Edinburgh.

Bennett’s swim of 51.72 missed the National Record by just .01 seconds in the swim, and he talks about some of the recent technique work that he’s done with the suddenly-huge training group at the University of Stirling.

Bennett says that he’s done more technique work since moving to Stirling than he’s ever done before in his career, and he talks about specific instances where he thinks that paid off in his race on Sunday.

How is that only 0.01 off a Scottish Record? His PB is 51.51???
