USA Diving is pleased to announce the addition of Lee Johnson as the organization’s new CEO. Johnson brings to the organization over 19 years of experience in strategic planning, brand building and partnership marketing with top brands, universities, and National Governing Bodies.
“I have been looking forward to this type of opportunity for a long time, and am honored to join USA Diving on the front end of a new Olympic quad,” Johnson said. “With 135 Olympic medals to date, USA Diving is built on a winning tradition and athletic achievement. I look forward to continuing this legacy and recent Olympic success in Tokyo and beyond.”
Coming from USA Gymnastics as the Vice President of Marketing, Johnson has collaborated on high-level marketing programs with Olympic and NGB sponsors, including P&G, AT&T, Hershey and Kellogg’s.
Prior to joining USA Gymnastics, Johnson held management and senior management positions with Sprint, Red Bull, The University of Kansas, and The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Johnson is a graduate of the University of Kansas and resides in Fishers, IN with his wife Heather, and their five children.
