UMass Women Get In on Training Trip Video Action

Earlier this week we featured the UMass men’s swimming and diving team‘s video of their recent Puerto Rico training trip. Now the women’s team has answered the call with a video of their own.

The video features plenty of training highlights, as well as some backwards water-sliding. Check out 2:23 for one of the most slickly edited moments we’ve seen in any training camp video this year.

The Minutewomen are 2-3 on the year. They won their first meet coming off the training camp, beating local rival Bryant University in decisive fashion.

They were 2nd in last year’s A-10 Championship behind perennial conference stalwart Richmond. This upcoming weekend they will head north to compete in the Dartmouth Invitational, before finishing the season with a home senior meet against Fordham. If they win that meet they will be undefeated in conference competition this year, having beat Rhode Island earlier this year.
