SAN JOSE, Calif. — The UC Davis swim and dive team got back on track with a 183-117 win over San Jose State on Saturday. The win is the Aggies’ second in two tries against San Jose State in the Matt Macedo era.

UC Davis finished the dual meet with eleven first place finishes and 23 top three finishes. 14 different Aggies had top three times in their events.

Naomi Boegholm had another outstanding meet with four first place times in the 50 free (23.59), 100 fly (55.88), 400 free relay (51.46 split) and 200 medley relay (24.55 fly split).

Emily ScheberiesNalanie Marinel Cortez, and Sam Rhodes also collected two individual event wins. Ellie Heit added a first place result in the 200 fly (2:02.71).

Mackenzie Young registered two second place scores in the 1 and 3 meter dives. 

UC Davis is back in action on Nov. 16 for the swimmers and Nov. 17 for the divers.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Jenna Jagielski placed first in the 3-meter dive with a 318.53 and the 1-meter dive with a 291.60 to score 18 points and lead the San José State swim and dive team in their 182-117 loss to UC Davis.

  • Amelia Snyder recorded the seventh-fastest 1000-yard freestyle in SJSU history with a time of 10:21.63 to place first in the event.
  • Lais e Silva finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.25
  • Ela Freiman clocked a time of 2:06.83 in the 200-yard IM to take second in the event.
  • Meagan Legarth places second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.58.
