Tom Daley and Team GB, I’m Sexy and I Know It (LMFAO)

Tom Daley and the Team GB diving crew took some time out from training to show their artistic expression in a different area.

Daley made global headlines after he and his synchonized partner got 4th on the 10 meter platform in London, and Daley received a tweet (from Riley69) that said: “You let your dad down I hope you know that.”  Daley responded: “After giving it my all…you get idiots sending me this…”

Daley’s father died of brain cancer in 2011.

TOM DALEY – DIVING CAREER:

Daley’s become a bit of a star in the Britain for his boyish good looks and fun-loving ways, but he has diving cred to go with it; 7th at the 2008 Olympics in the 10 meter platform, plus he grabbed the top 2009 FINA World ranking at the tender age of 15.

At the 2009 FINA World Championships in Rome, Daley won gold in the individual platform. It was a surprise win with his low score (539.85 points). Daley benefited from his competitors’ weak dives.

At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India, Daley won gold in the 10 meter platforrm, and gold with partner Max Brick in the sychronized 10 meter platform.

At the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai, China, Daley was teamed with Waterfield for the 10 meter synchronized event. Waterfield fell ill with the flu seven days before the competition. They ended up with a disappointing 6th place. In the individual 10 meter platform, Daley got 5th.

At the British Gas Diving Championships in Sheffield in  June of this year – Britian’s Olympic Diving Trials – Daley and Waterfield won the 10 meter synchro platform with a British record (475.7).  Daley won the individual 10 meter platform with a 547.60.
